Screen Time only works if you can't switch it off.
Block porn. Cap doomscrolling. Cut gaming. iOS can already do all of it. But at your weakest moment you tap Ignore Limit, type the four digits you remember, and it's over. LoseMyPass takes those digits away.
You set the rule. You also hold the key to break it.
Most blockers fail the same way. Apps can be deleted in a minute. Screen Time can't, but three things still let you off.
- 1
You know the passcode.
iOS makes you type the 4-digit code twice, so you learn it whether you mean to or not. After that, every limit is one Ignore Limit tap and four digits from gone.
- 2
A friend is not a lock.
Asking someone to set it works, until you need a real change and they're asleep, or you find an excuse good enough to get the code out of them.
- 3
Apple leaves a way back in.
Screen Time can offer to reset a forgotten passcode through an Apple Account. While that path is open, you can undo your own limits.
Whatever you're trying to stop, the weak spot is the same.
Stay off porn on your iPhone
Screen Time can restrict adult websites for the whole phone. It only holds until the night you open Settings and switch it off. This takes that option away.
Stop doomscrolling
Cap Instagram, TikTok or X. When the limit hits, there is no code to type, so there is nothing to tap past.
Cut down on gaming
Limit games at the system level. Getting more time means waiting, not one tap.
Finish the thing due Friday
Lock the distractions for a week and let the deadline do the rest.
This is friction for an impulse, not a cure.
So we take the passcode away.
It runs on the Screen Time already in your iPhone. Nothing to install.
Set your limits
Add App Limits, Downtime or Content Restrictions in iPhone Settings. We walk you through it.
Set a passcode you never learn
We generate a random code and guide you to type it key by key, with decoys and deletes in between, so you never see it whole.
Wait to get it back
If you need it, request a reveal and wait out the time you chose: an hour, a day or a week.
Locked out on impulse. Never locked out for good.
Your passcode is sealed in an encrypted vault and only unsealed for you once your wait is over. It can't be released early, by you or by us. It only controls Screen Time on your own iPhone, not your unlock code or your Apple Account.
Questions, answered straight.
How can I set a passcode without knowing it?
We generate a random passcode and tell you which key to press, one at a time. Along the way you type extra digits and delete them again, so by the end it's set on your iPhone but you've never seen it in full.
Why not just ask a friend to set it?
That works, until you need to change a limit and they aren't around, or they give in when you ask nicely. LoseMyPass gives you the same result without putting anyone in the middle.
Is it unbypassable?
For everyday impulses, yes. iOS also has a passcode recovery option tied to your Apple Account, so during setup we show you how to turn it off.
Can LoseMyPass see my passcode?
It's stored encrypted and only decrypted for you after your wait is over. You can delete a lock or your whole account at any time.
Does it work on Android?
Not yet. LoseMyPass is for iPhone only, because it works through iOS Screen Time.
Is this a replacement for professional support?
No. It's friction for an impulse, not a treatment. If a pattern is affecting your life, a licensed professional can help in ways a locked passcode can't.
Decide once, while you're calm.
Set your limits, then lose the passcode. It takes about two minutes.
